Streetfood sensation Squid Kitchen are bringing their squid specialities & a host of new dishes inspired by Madrid Market Eating to Clapham this September, as our next kitchen resident. Running through until Sunday 4th October, the month-long popup will give visitors an exclusive chance to taste traditional snacks & produce from the Spanish capital without leaving South London. You can have a sneak-peak at their menu here.
Since their launch last January, Squid Kitchen have become established members of the London streetfood scene; serving their signature Squid Kitchen Cones with Vampire Killer aioli & popular Bocadillo de Calamares (sourdough rolls stuffed with fried squid rings) regularly at Partridges Market in Chelsea & Chestnuts Market in Harringey, as well as popups in Tottenham & Peckham. Founder Sarah Rippon is committed to sourcing top quality produce, to ensure customers experience the finest of Madrid’s flavours.
Squid Kitchen’s September residency will allow guests to sample the popup chefs’ unique squid-focused street delicacies, plus a wider new menu showcasing their twist on classic Madrid market snacks & produce – including Fiery Chorizo Stew, Godfather Peppers and Patatas Bravas topped with spicy tomato & paprika “Squid Vicious” sauce. The perfect pairing for our refreshing craft beers, Squid Kitchen’s daily sharing dishes will be complemented by special #FishFryDay offers on Friday nights, & Spanish-style all-day breakfast dishes on Saturdays & Sundays to enjoy with “Bottomless Brunch” Bloody Mary’s.
