07 Aug 2017 – 03 Sep 2017
Taking over our kitchen from Monday 7th August are Cucina Rustica with their Sicilian-inspired menu. Running daily until Sunday 3rd September, you can expect a menu of tempting antipasti, such as Beef & Pork Sicilian Meatballs or Arancini Rustica, as well as larger plates ranging from Pumpkin Tortellini to Puttanesca Peppers. To finish you can enjoy their famous Doughnut Gnocchi Balls filled with molten Nutella chocolate. Saturdays & Sundays will see an Italian twist on classic brunch dishes & roast dinners that are not to be missed.
After successful stints at venues such as The Dukes Head In Highgate, Unwined in Tooting & The Rose & Crown in Kentish Town, Cucina Rustica are now ready to bring their authentic Italian flavours to Clapham for your eating pleasure. In their own words:
“Having grew up in a Sicilian family, as a little chubby kid running around the kitchens of his families six restaurants, cooking was always going to be second nature. Giorgio brings with him a menu that is influenced by classic, rustic Italian/Sicilian street food & the flavours of his childhood.
Here at Cucina Rustica we try our hardest to source not only the best local London ingredients but the finest imported Italian produce that gives our menu its authentic taste. With rave reviews from the Camden New Journal, calling ‘no dish a dud’ & the Hackney Gazette singing our praises we are excited to finally branch out into SW London & show the rest of the city what we are about, bringing with us a rustic, provincial Italian/Sicilian style dining experience.”
